Welcome
The 12th Workshop on Spectroscopic Ellipsometry (WSE) is organized by the Department of Structural Dynamics of ELI Beamlines in collaboration with the Magneto-Optics Research Group of Charles University - Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, and the Department of Optical and Biophysical Systems of the Institute of Physics of the Czech Acadamy of Science. The meeting will take place at the SOLID21 building of the Institute of Physics of the Czech Academy of Science, in Prague, in the Czech Republic, the week of September 19 to 21, 2023. During the other two days of the week, there will be two satellite meetings: one on Time-resolved ellipsometry and another one on Imaging ellipsometry.
The Workshop of Ellipsometry is an international platform where advances in ellipsometric applications in science and engineering, as well as the latest instrument and software developments, are discussed in an open interdisciplinary atmosphere. Contributions from a wide range of ellipsometry applications and related methods are welcome and may cover scientific and industrial topics.
The 12th Workshop of Ellipsometry (WSE), follows the tradition of previous workshops held in Stuttgard (2000 and 2004), Berlin (2002, 2006, and 2011), Zweibrücken (2009), Leipzig (2012), Dresden (2014), Enschede (2015), Chemnitz (2018), and Steyr (2021) with the intention to stimulate open discussions. In particular we would encourage also young scientists to participate.
